Case studies
We have conducted qualitative case studies at the Museu do Amanhã (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), the Royal BC Museum (Victoria, Canada), the Museu Nacional de Historia Natural e da Ciência (Lisbon, Portugal), and Heureka The Finnish Science Centre (Vantaa, Finaland). On those institutions, our work has centred on the voices and lived experiences of 26 museum professionals and how the pandemic impacted their work, practice, priorities and (professional) values. You can learn more about each of these institutions through the links below and about the findings of our case studies in the subsections that follow the images.
